How long is the IAA Level 1 Weekend Training course?
The course runs live online across Saturday and Sunday and provides approximately 10 hours of instructor-led teaching in total.
Does the weekend course cover the whole IAA Level 1 syllabus?
The programme is designed to cover the principal and most important Level 1 subject areas in an intensive format. Because it is delivered over two days, it cannot provide the same depth or study time as the longer 15-week programme, and additional independent reading and revision are expected.
Does the course include exam preparation?
Yes. One hour at the end of each day is dedicated to exam-preparation guidance, including revision approach, use of official resources and practical preparation strategy.
Does the £549 fee include the 500+ MCQ practice bank?
No. The 500+ MCQ Exam Practice subscription is a separate product and can be purchased independently if you want extensive question, past-paper and mock-test practice.
Is the weekend course suitable for complete beginners?
Yes, but the course moves quickly. Beginners should be prepared for an intensive weekend and may need more pre-reading and post-course study than learners who already have some immigration-law knowledge.
Will completing this course authorise me to provide immigration advice?
No. Completing a private training course does not itself grant IAA authorisation. Adviser and organisation registration, competence requirements and formal authorisation are controlled by the Immigration Advice Authority.
Can I join from outside the UK?
Yes. The programme is delivered live online. Overseas learners should ensure they can attend the scheduled weekend sessions in UK time and understand that the course focuses on UK immigration law.
What should I do after the weekend course?
Continue revising the areas covered, use the latest IAA syllabus and official resource materials, and consider dedicated MCQ and mock-test practice if you are moving into assessment preparation.
